Dr. Stephen Chagares
Dr. Stephen Chagares graduated from Georgetown University in 1986 and obtained his medical degree in 1990 from Rutgers Medical School. Upon graduation, Dr. Chagares performed his Residency in General Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, New Jersey. He obtained specialty training in breast surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Dr. Chagares has been in private practice for over 20 years and is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and Bayshore Community Hospital. In addition, he is affiliated with several outpatient surgical facilities and nursing homes.
Dr. Chagares has received a number of outstanding awards for excellence in academic teaching, Top Doctors awards, and Patient’s Choice awards. He prides himself in still enjoying the art of surgery and the honor of treating patients.
Dr. Chagares received his hair restoration training from Dr. Alan J. Bauman, Board Certified Hair Restoration Physician in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Chagares is a Bauman Certified HairCoach. Through his training he learned how to treat male and female hair loss patients. Dr. Chagares is well trained at a variety of options for patients who are in need of hair loss solutions. Some of these treatments include topical therapy, oral therapy, low level laser therapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) and hair transplantation with NeoGraft.
Dr. Glen Ross
Dr. Glen Ross is a board certified hair transplant surgeon who has been performing hair transplant procedures exclusively for the past decade. During that time, he has performed thousands of surgeries not only restoring hairlines and density to the scalp but also enhancing beards and eyebrows as well. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Union College in Schenectady, Dr. Ross went on to earn his medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He then went on to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine and worked locally, eventually becoming the Director of the Emergency Departments at major hospitals in the Bronx and Westchester County. When he decided to change careers, Dr. Ross specifically chose the field of hair transplant surgery. “For years I truly enjoyed working in emergency medicine. But when I looked to change specialties, I chose hair transplant surgery.
